Custom Frames:

Each custom model is offered in two different levels.

The SE series is the ultimate setup, “for the cyclist who wants nothing less than the ultimate cycling experience”. Many different engineering and manufacturing steps are added to this series, manipulating the metal and carbon fibers to yield the highest performance and lightest weight from all four custom SE frames. All models in this series include the top end Serotta F3 fork, that is full carbon, titanium dropouts and race, with multiple stiffness and rake options. The SE series has a wide range of custom paint jobs available.

The GS series applies important manufacturing and engineering principals to the frame and gives some allowances for economy of time spent vs. resultant gain in ride quality. “For any cyclist ready to step up to the performance and comfort of custom”. The GS series includes Serotta’s S fork, which is full carbon with aluminum dropouts and race and comes in one stiffness and two rake options. The GS series has limited custom paint jobs, more available for an extra charge.

Meivici: custom road

The ultimate expression of full custom carbon manipulated to the Nth degree to give the highest quality ride possible. This frame when finished off with top end groupsets, wheels and finishing components can easily dip under the 15 pound mark and will last for decades for even the most demanding rider. Serotta has a dedicated team of engineers and technical staff solely working on carbon fiber lug and tube design. “Meivici” translates to “my victory” but is also called the “vapor bike” by the staff in Saratoga Springs. Ottrott: custom road, triathlon, or cyclocross

Some people argue the virtues of titanium over carbon fiber as the best frame material. Serotta decided to make a performance frame utilizing the best of both materials, naming the process “integrated technology”. Titanium is used in areas where durability is of greatest concern; carbon where torsional stiffness and vibration dampening are the primary goals. Legend: custom road, triathlon, cyclocross or travel

Titanium, when bought from an aerospace supplier and handled by craftsmen into a bike frame will give wonderful snappy ride and last a lifetime. Serotta has been making full custom titanium bikes for over 15 years and is uber-skilled in their process of machining and forming the 3/2.5 titanium. Coeur D’Acier: custom road or cross

“Steel is real” is an old saying in the cycling world that has come full circle with the new high strength low weight alloys now available. The Coeur D’Acier pays homage to Ben Serotta’s early days of being a steel frame builder. Custom Triathlon frames:

CXII-Ti

New to the Serotta lineup is a full ti bike with aero tubes used on the down tube, top tube and seat tube with a wheel cutout. This frame comes with the patented ST seat stay that creates a mechanical shock absorption that will also keep your rear wheel on the ground on high speed descents by constantly pushing your back wheel onto the tarmac. CXII-Steel

High end niobium steel is used to make this bike both lightweight and tough. Areo tubing is used on the down tube as this is the most visible part of the frame that is cutting into the wind. Why choose a stock frame?

The Serotta stock frames are made with the same materials, by the same skilled workers, as their custom brothers. Having 8 to 11 different sizes in each model allows for most riders to have a size that will fit them.

HSG: High Speed Geometry, geometry specific for those looking for top end performance for road racing or spirited club rides. These frames are offered in eight different sizes 48-62, all include a full carbon Serotta S fork.

HSG Carbon

A full carbon bike that was designed to be the best bike for an aggressive rider looking to maximize power and efficiency to yield the highest speed and acceleration. Using Serotta’s proprietary torsion core helix carbon tubing with the multi-modulus lug (MML) design produces the lightest, stiffest and most competition craving Serotta to date. Titanium inserts have been added to the bottom bracket and head tube to maximize strength and durability. Read more on the Serotta web site...

HSG IT

The Integrated Technology (IT) build on this frame is a combination of titanium and carbon fiber. The same technology developed in the full custom Ottrott is passed down to this stock bike with geometry set up for an aggressive rider. Read more on the Serotta web site...

Made for cycling enthusiasts that are great all around bikes, offered in two models and a generous selection of 11 different sizes, about double of most frame manufacturers.

Fierte IT

This is a great all around bike that combines the elegance and smoothness of titanium with the strength and stiffness of carbon fiber.
